Help Me Grow/Early Intervention
(0-3 years of age)
Designed for children up to 3 years of age who are at risk or who have been diagnosed with disabilities and/or developmental delays. This program provides:
- Interactive educational experiences
- Physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Family information and support services
- Center-based, community and home-based services
Integrated Preschool Program
(3-5 years of age)
Serving preschool-aged children with developmental disabilities, as well as preschoolers who are typically developing. A reasonable fee for typically-developing preschoolers. This program provides:
- Play-based curriculum that stresses academic standards, cognitive social, communication, motor and self-help skills
- Adaptive physical education
- Swimming
School Age Program
(6-22 years of age)
Chartered by the Ohio Department of Education, this program includes specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of a child and/or young adult with developmental disabilities.
- Individual-centered curriculum with amulti-disciplinary approach
- Emphasis on academic, emotional and social growth
- Computer-assisted adaptive technology skills
- Extracurricular activities
Lake Employment Experience Program (LEEP)
(Broadmoor School students over the age of 16)
- School-to-work transition program
- Job exploration and training
- Community-based vocational skills training
- Facilitation of independent living skills
- Extracurricular activities
